Now the student wants to make a personal injury claim against the builder. However I do not have the contact details for the builder as he has recently moved house and I cannot locate him. What can i do now, can this case be brought against me? Did I have a duty to keep the builder’s contact details as he was working on a student accomadation. I live in the UK so I am looking for the laws that apply in the UK.

I was involved in a head on collision 1/07/09. I was sitting passenger at the time, and my friend was driving. We came over a hill and were hit head on. I was taken to the hospital for one fractured ankle and the other badly sprained, and a bruised lung. My friend was flown to Las Vegas for a dislocated hip and a bruised lung. The other driver and his father were sitting up front and neither we’re injured, but his younger brother died. I was soon contacted from the insurance company, and finally by March of 2009 my claim was finally settled and I received a cash settlement, at the time I wasn’t having any health problems due to the accident. Just recently I have been having a lot of problems, with my ankles and chest. I also I have been having severe back problems, I’ve never had problems with my back any time before my accident. What I’m wondering is, is it possible to re-open my claim? Would it help if I hired an attorney?

This time last yr I was accused of crashing into someones car. What actually happened was the driver rolled into my car. He is trying to make a claim against me and it has caused me a great deal of stress. To the extent to which I have almost lost my girlfriend through worrying about it… my car insurance would increase by over £1000 a year!!

If this goes to court and is ruled in my favour… then the way I see it is he has broken the law in making a fraudulent claim… I have pictures of both vehicles showing no damage. And he is actually claiming for his daughter… i didnt see anyone else in the car and my insurance are in the process of gaining access to check the school records for that day.

My question is…. if it is proved he is lieing… can i put in a claim through my car insurance company to be compensated for the stress caused???????

i was insured at the time and i bumped someone very lightly, the’yre sueing me for wiplash and personal injury claims.
shouldnt my insurance have covered this? becuase there making a personal claim to me which the insurance companies through out i belive?

My son was disabled by an accident at his work and can never work again. As his benefits are below the limit he is not required to and cannot pay CSA mainenance for his child. He got a little compensation for the injury, not very much as he has other medical problems that slashed the compensation amount. Apparantly it is not as bad to cripple someone who was partially disabled to begin with as it is to cripple someone who was in perfect health. The compensation is desperately needed by him for special beds furniture etc: that he will need for the rest of his life. My question is can the CSA make him pay maintenence out of this compensation. He does not owe any arrears as he was assessed at £0.00 liability after the accident. His ex is trying to pressure the CSA to get money from him. She has a child with someone else and is in another relationship. They have 2 home, 2 cars holidays every few months, while he lives in a world of pain and discomfort.

its been over a year and my insurance claim got denied.

What can you do if you got into a car accident and the person who caused it gave you his insurance information, vehicle id number, and insurance card…. you call to file a claim and then the agent calls you back in a few days to let you know that the person was not insured at the time of the accident?
What can i do if i got into a car wreck, with the fault of the other person. The guy gave me his insurance information, vehical id #, i called his insurance to file a claim… and then days later the agent calls me and tells me he wasnt covered during that time. I called the police and they said i could file an affidavit… isnt there a better way to handle this so i can get paid for damages?

I’m in AZ and in Ch. 7. I am about to settle a claim from an auto accident. Can they take the settlement money?

I was involved in a car accident. I was at fault but didn’t get any injury. The other car flipped over.The two people in the other car were taken to the hospital. When I inquired about them from the paramedics and other passers-by , they said that they were ok, one of the policemen said that they were being taken to the hospital just to make sure that everything was fine. They hired an attorney, the property claim got settled but now they are demanding 5,000(total) for the injuries to both the people present in the other car. Our insurance policy has got this 0,000 per person or 0,0000 per occurrence limit. Do we need to pay anything personally or does the insurance company take care of everything? Is the bill of 1,25000 means that each person is claiming half of that?
