was recently in a major car wreck riding passenger on i-240 eastbound, traffic was at a complete stop due to merging traffic on 35 southbound…. we come to a complete stop and get rearended about 3 mins later, by a drunk driver at 75mph also causing us to hit the people infront of us. causing the truck to look like the letter ‘V’ THE TRUCK IS NOT MINE. but is for sure TOTALED! i have severe neck and back problems they said i have whiplash and have been givin hydrocodone and flexeril for the muscle spasm’s in my neck, the impact was so hard it knocked the hat off my head glasses off my face right shoe off of my foot as it was slung outside the passenger door, and the truck dash crumbled into peices no joke!!!! my door swung open as the truck spun a 180 facing oncoming traffic, with my right leg dangling out. at that point i was in severe pain not being able to move my neck at all and my head and the back of my neck hit the window frame of the the back glass on the 97 gmc ex-cab i have glass stuck into my head along with plenty of good scratches and still have remaing glass in my head/neck and major swelling on the lower part of my head along with my neck, i am on probation as well and am not able to seek active employment as requested due to this wreck, also this is a little personal but i feel its for sure "PAIN AND SUFFERING" 1. I have trouble pooping it hurts my stomach badly and my lower back. also when i cough its like i got hit in the stomach with a baseball bat….. 2. since i am on muscle relaxers due to the major pain and strain of the neck aka whiplash, i cannot enjoy any sexual activites with my girlfriend.
how much $ am i entitled to? i feel that money isnt the issue at this point, the issue is if/when will/can i be better, but i need a round figure to request on the personal enjury claim… please share your info…. thank you! and be carefull!!!!!!
My boyfriend got into a car accident a year ago (may 1st, 07). We have police report stating that it was another guy’s fault ( and it really was). He tried submitting a claim to my boyfriends insurance company, but they declined, and he kinda went away. In exactly a year he has put another claim to the insurance company, and they declined again. My question is – can he sue my boyfriend directly ( not through insurance) if it already has been over the year since the accident?
but since then there has been claims he was left out as he is leaving, also he isnt in the picture for the release of the new kit…

I have been battling with them since August to get paid,,there was a considerable amount of damage to my car as he was going fast and kept going in a panic.
The Co. (Allstate) has said they have to "contact" him to confirm fault,,in Ct where I am there is No fault..but they keep playing this tune…there was a ticket as I pointed out to the Co..this is clear of who’s fault it is…my car was parked and was not moving.
Can I sue the Insurance co. for double if they continue to refuse to pay me? Or is this just for personal injury?

I have been in a car wreck last winter, lost 6 months of work, lots of Dr’s visits and now I have been "cleared" that I am back to normal. My question is- Let’s say I have 17000 in medical bills, 13000 in lost wages Vehicle was totaled and paid for separately (wasn’t mine, I was the passenger.) I have since lost my house and I am having my wages garnished for the rent I couldn’t pay. My personal injury protect paid 10, 000 of the medical bills. I have an attorney but I don’t meet with him for another week or so. So if I receive ,000 settlement my attorney gets 25% and then I pay the PIP back and the medical bills that are still due, I am left with ,000? Or is the amount MY settlement then the Dr bills are paid.
BTW- other persons fault, he admitted blowing a stop sign and was given a ticket for it, just FYI.

I don’t know his insurance limits, it was a company vehicle so I assumed they had sufficient coverage. I’m not looking to get rich by any means but right now I have so many bills past due it’s crazy.
i was rear ended by a car yesterday which was hit by another car on her rear. the driver of that car was 17. I went to the hospital got x rays done a couple of hours later the insurance was on my dad’s name and since he didnt have collison they wotn cover anything and wont even contact the other party at my behalf. what are my options as of now? what should i say or not say to the other party insurance when if ile a claim? can they refuse to help me? my wife was involved in an accident with a police car- it was their fault- 60 mph on the wrong side of the road- they made a claim for personal injury- our insurance company accepted liabilty then wrote to us saying we had to pay an additional £125 as i was named the main driver when my wife was- now i am worried they will nto cover the costs- can anyone help with advice thank you
The situation is, that my solicitor dropped my case just a few months before my limit to claim expired, which now leaves me over the limitation time to claim. This was due to false information on my medical records from the N.H.S, stating that I was drunk at the time of the accident. I do have many witnesses that was with me all day that day, and are willing to contradict this in letter form, if needed. I know that there are further procedures that can be taken, but not quite sure what they are.
At the end of the day, I lost out financially, not to mention that I had physical issues for some time after the incident, and it was not my fault. Is there anyone in the world, that has any idea what legal proceedings that I can take next?
